Hisham Abdelaziz, PE, PMP

Hisham Abdelaziz commands more than 35 years of experience in the management and design of transportation projects of all sizes and varying levels of complexity, both conventional and alternative delivery.  His management experience extends to project organization and overseeing all phases of project development, contract negotiations, budget and schedule establishment and tracking, quality assurance and quality control, client and subconsultant coordination, public involvement, staff oversight, and technical training and assistance.

Additionally, Hisham is very knowledgeable and experienced on a technical level including geometric layout, pavement design, urban and rural hydrology and hydraulics design, scour analysis, signing and pavement markings, traffic control, and specifications and cost estimates. Since starting his career, he has successfully managed and led the design efforts on several transportation projects for many state DOTs, counties and municipalities.  

Hisham joined the CarolinaTEA team in 2023 as a Partner. Hisham oversees our Roadway team and is instrumental in developing relationships for work in North Carolina.
