Brandon Jones, PE

With over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, Brandon Jones brings a wealth of expertise in both public and private sectors. He began his career with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), where he held a variety of leadership roles, including Assistant District Engineer in Division 4, Assistant Resident Engineer in Division 5, and Assistant District Engineer in Wake County.

Transitioning to the private sector, Brandon excelled as a Project Manager for two prominent Raleigh-area grading contractors, further honing his skills in project execution and management. He later returned to NCDOT as the District Engineer for Wake County, where he spearheaded numerous process improvements related to access permits, encroachment agreements, and maintenance contracts.

Brandon’s expertise expanded further during his tenure as Division Operations and Maintenance Engineer for Division 5, overseeing planning, budgeting, contracting, and implementation of roadway and bridge maintenance across seven counties. His leadership and strategic vision led to his promotion to Deputy Division Engineer, followed by Division Engineer roles in Division 8 and Division 5.
